Kim Ward, Sr. Move Manager, completed a corporate relocation December 6th thru 8th…partially in the rain!. Final construction items were completed, hence the hard hat. Great job, Kim!
We feel our clients are like “gold” and like to remember them at this happy season! Here’s a thank you note from one of our Special Clients after receiving a holiday tin of popcorn we sent them:
“Dear Barbara, It was so nice to get this gift from you. Thank you very much! Happy upcoming Holidays to you, too!!! Can’t wait to see you.
Murad, Pour Toi Flowers “
The Home Depot store in Torrance, CA was extremely generous to Donna’s family during the Woolsey firestorm. They donated three air purifiers, filtration masks and batteries, and even gave Donna a $200 discount towards the purchase of a new washing machine. We thank them (especially Sam, the General Manager) for their kindness and generosity…they are our hometown heros!
Kim Ward, Sr. Move Manager, relocated a client this weekend (Nov. 16 & 17) into their new office in El Segundo. The move included approximately 175 people. Our client prefers that we do not mention their name, but here are a few pics of their new digs! Cool stuff!
Barbara attended the annual IFMA Conference to learn what’s new in Facilities Management, network with other IFMA members, attend the FMCC Annual Meeting and of course, attend the Welcome Session – held at the NASCAR Museum! All in all a great conference for education and networking and keeping up those CFM points!
Barbara Kane was in New York Oct. 30-November 1, 2018 for a small storage move for The Recording Academy (Grammys). She also looked at real estate space for lease for Kane’s IW Group client. Around those client meetings, Barbara was able to take in a Broadway Show “Pretty Woman” (awesome!), enjoy the ice skaters in Bryant Park and check out the holiday decorations going up!
Kane and CBRE have teamed on an important Kane Client’s Corporate Headquarters search for a new office lease in San Francisco. We toured 7 buildings in 2.5 hours – walking thru the busy downtown; creating a short list of buildings and understanding the fast paced market of office space in San Francisco. Combing the expertise of these 2 teams is a win-win for the Client in this particular market!
Donna Mirka, Kane Consulting’s Office Manager, recently visited Dubai. The world’s tallest building is in Dubai (Burg Khalifas); and other out-of-this-world architecture!
